GR8 Racing
What sets this game apart from many other racing games is that it allows you to drift around the track. Not only does it allow you to drift, but in order to complete your laps in a good time, you will need to drift.
Getting Started
After the intro finishes, click Start at the bottom right of the screen. You will then see the track, along with a three second countdown until your laps begin.
Controls
You will use the arrow keys to control your car. Once the three second countdown ends, hold down the up key to give your car gas. If you need to slow down, you can stop holding down the up key, as well as applying the brake by using pressing the down key. You can also control where you car goes by using the left and right arrow keys to steer.
Racing Around the Track
This game requires you to complete three laps around a track. As you will quickly discover, the turns on this track are quite tight. As a result, it's necessary for you to drift around them in order to complete the laps without taking all day. One thing worth noting about this game is that it allows you to go off the track into the grass. However, when you do this, it will significantly slow you down. Additionally, if you try to shortcut through the grass, you will not be credited for a lap. To achieve the best time possible, you need to balance speed with expert drifting and handling.
